#3952 fixed Vbox 2.2.2 install causes all network cards to be deleted from Vista, driver reinstallation fails, only solution : uninstall Vbox cameron
Description

Installed version 2.2.2 on Vista 32bits OS with an Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN Card.

Installation goes fine, network disconnects, reconnects. One can use the network without any trouble as long as the PC is on.

After reboot, wifi card seems to have been totally wiped off the system. Only Vbox's Host-Only Network is left & bluetooth works.

Tried :

  • Deleteing the Vbox Host Only things
  • Reinstalling Driver
  • Uninstalling Driver & Reinstalling Driver
  • Adding my wifi card manually & Installing driver

The ONLY solution i've found is to uninstall Vbox 2.2.2....

This is really critical since old VDI disks are now "updated" to 2.2.2 format and one can't use 2.2.2 because it busts the host network.

#3953 fixed OpenServer 5.0.7 Video Config Manager causes Guru Meditation (invalid VT-x state) -> fixed in SVN/3.0.10 Darren Clark
Description

When setting up the Xserver in SCO OpenDesktop 5.0.7, the Video Configuration Manager causes a Guru Meditation. I'm not sure but I think part of starting the video configuration manager is to probe several types of video cards to see what type of card is present.

#3954 fixed selecting "Enable Desktop Effects" causes white screen; subsequent shutdowns occasionally fail Doug Blackburn
Description

I'm using Virtualbox 2.2.2 on a Vista 64-bit Host and a Fedora 10 Guest. I've enabled 3D Acceleration and installed the guest additions. Whenever I select "Enable Desktop Effects", I get a white screen. After I do that, any following shutdown usually (but not always) seems to hand.
