I changed my previous notebook to Acer 5730 with Intel's current MonteRosa chipset and Microsoft's Windows XP SP3. I installed VB 2.0 but can't start. Any attempt to start and install a host system results in the following message and is abonded. VirtualBox kernel driver not installed.
VBox status code: -1908 (VER_VM_DRIVER_NOT_INSTALLED).
Error code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)

I tried the last previous version before. The result was the same. On my previous notebook (Acer Aspire 5050, AMD Turion single CPU, Windows XP SP2) I installed several guest systems without any problems and they really worked fine. I feel confused now.
