| #10519 | obsolete | REGRESSION: Shared folders randomly disappear and reappear from Windows guest | ||
| Description |
I have a Windows-guest VM with a shared folder configured. When I installed the guest OS I installed the guest additions and a network drive (E:) was created for the shared folder.
Every once in a while, I start the VM and the network drive corresponding to the shared folder is not there, it simply does not exist. The shared folder is accessible under The first time it happened, I re-added it manually in the guest as X: Then after some reboots of the guest, the original network drive E: magically reappeared, and I had both E: and X: both pointing to the same network folder. This had never happened in VB 3.x this is a (yet another) regression in Virtual Box 4. |

Application has to be forced quit. Solely application installation doesn't produce any errors. Problem will also send to apple and Elgato.
