| #4480 | fixed | XP x64 guest (on XP x64 host) fails if more than 1 virtual CPU enabled -> retry with 3.1.4 | ||
| Description |
Exact same install media with exact same VM settings except: If only one virtual processor is enabled the system installs and (as far as I can tell) runs flawlessly. If two virtual processors are enabled the system still installs up to the second reboot (after the GUI install section). However after that the system either simply fails to start (the white progress bar freezes or just a blank screen) or crashes with seemingly random BSODs (the one I remember was System Service Exception). |

| #5366 | fixed | Intel PRO/1000 MT need to connect / disconnect / reconnect => Fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
Host: Windows XP Pro x64 edition Guests: Windows XP Pro (32&64-bit) and Windows 2000 Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (Bridged adapter, Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller #2, starts disconnected) To get the guest operating system to recognise that the network cable has been connected I have to connect it, then disconnect it and then reconnect it, after which it finally detects that the virtual cable has been inserted. |

| #5800 | fixed | Enabling VT-x/AMD-V results in guest W2K BSOD (regression) -> fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
Host: Windows XP pro x64 (Intel Q9450 CPU) Guest: Windows 2000 If hardware virtualization (VT-x/AMD-V)is enabled then Windows 2000 will BSOD when booting up with a "Page Fault in Nonpaged Area" message. Note that W2K will in fact install through both textmode and GUI aspects of setup, failure only occurs once it is fully installed and tries to do a "normal" boot. This problem is new with the 3.1.x series, 3.0.12 did not have this problem. |
