| #12659 | fixed | Closing with "Send the shutdown signal" locks the VM window | ||
| Description |
Host OS: Windows XP SP3 x86 latest updates Guest OS: Windows XP SP3 x86 latest updates Guest additions not installed. I try to close the VM by clicking on the [x] button and choosing "Send the shutdown signal". The Windows starts to shut down, but, when it's about to close, the VM window becomes partially frozen: the client area is unresponsive and it will turn to black; plus, the window cannot be normally closed. Only End task in Task manager helps. Yes, I know Guest additions must be installed for a proper use but, still, it shouldn't do that. |

| #8039 | obsolete | Cmd 'N' stopped working even after uninstalling VirtualBox | ||
| #11086 | worksforme | Cmd + C and Cmd + V freeze VM | ||
| Description |
I run Windows 7 on a Mac OS X host. Whenever I accidentally press Cmd + C or Cmd + V inside the VM (because I want to copy and paste something and momentarily forget I'm on Windows), VirtualBox will switch views and bug #10822 will come into play, crashing or freezing the VM. This is INCREDIBLY annoying. Please add an option to change the "switch views" hotkeys to some other combination that is less likely to be pressed by accident. |
