| #3780 | fixed | Ubuntu Jaunty deb depends on Python2.5 | ||
| Description |
The .deb package on the site depends on Python version 2.5, whilst Jaunty ships with Python2.6 installed. Whilst this installs fine, it means that the user ends up with 2 versions of Python installed side by side necessarily. Ubuntu have packaged the open-source edition in their package virtualbox-ose so that it only depends on the meta-package "python". Surely this could also be done for your edition? If you distribute compiled .pycs, then these could be remade under the Python 2.6 compiler and the dependancy changed |

| #3781 | fixed | Excel chart labels clipped | ||
| Description |
Like already mentionned by a post on the forum a year ago http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5130,
I experience clipped y labels in Excel 2003 graphs under VirtualBox (see my example at http://cern.ch/info-100km/vbox/excel-chart.pdf).
As I use Mac Osx Leopard host and Vbox 2.1.0, as opposed to zenwalk 5.0, 2.6.23.12 and VirtualBox 1.5.6 for the OP in the forum post, I guess the "bug" is rather in the Vbox Windows XP guest additions, specifically Vbox display drivers.
Like if Excel is using a rare and not supported feature in Vbox to draw the y labels. But that is pure supputation from my part, I leave the expert finding out. This bug does not prevent me to nicely run Vbox on my Macbook Pro to virtualize Windows XP, but requires that I reboot with bootcamp into XP whenever I want to do extensive work with Excel. Annoying. And Excel 2008 for Mac is so slow ;( |

| #3782 | fixed | Unable to sort by column with Mouse Integration Enabled. -> fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
Host: Windows XP Pro Guest: Slackware 12.2 updated to -current VirtualBox: 2.2.0 Install Slackware 12.2 from the dvd and do all the upgrades to current which will have you running KDE 4.2.2 with qt-copy r948357 (KDE's version of QT with changes not yet made upstream). It has also been tried with various versions of the vanilla qt version. The issue is whenever mouse integration is enabled, you are unable to sort by columns. When you click on it it highlights the entire area. This seems to happen in every qt4 based program. Click on Machine -> Disable Mouse Integration and you can then click on the columns and sort by whichever column you choose. Re-enable mouse integration and you are unable to sort anymore. |
