| #1994 | duplicate | VM gets inaccessible because of shared folder inaccessiblity | ||
| Description |
VirtualBox: 1.6.4 Host: Fedora 8 linux x86_64 Guest: Windows XP I have 2 extra H.D.D partitions and they are mounted like /media/disk and /media/disk-1. each time I bootup my system, one of them gets mounted sooner than the other. I shared a folder in partioin 2, but because of the change of the mount point of this partition, sometimes it gets inaccessiblie by VirtualBox. but this causes my VM to be inaccessible. I can not remove the shared folder either. what should I do? |

| #1995 | duplicate | CPU at 100% (migrated XP guest from VMWare) | ||
| Description |
The CPU is pegged with my XP Windows guest. The Host is an AMD 64 dual core running Kubuntu 8.04: root@igor:/home/roberts/linux# uname -a Linux igor 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 21:01:46 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux I have tried turning off clipboard and USB -- neither helped. The virtual disk image is one that was converted to a single disk image from a multiple VMWare disk image set. |
