#2719 obsolete Seamless mode has taskbars but no windows with fedora 10 as a guest someone4746
Description

When trying seamless mode with fedora 10 as a guest i only get the task bars to appear. The windows of the programs running under the guest don't show.

I also needed to install system-config-display and use it to set vboxvideo as the display driver for it to even allow me to use seamless mode and other display related features. (Normally you will just edit xorg.conf but because of changes in the way X11 works, there is no xorg.conf by default but you can just use this tool to generate one and also edit some settings in it)

#3686 fixed Installation of 2.2.0 fails installing Virtualbox and rolls back changes someone4746
Description

I am trying a clean install of 2.2.0 after uninstalling 2.1.4 and once it reaches the end it starts to roll back changes and doesn't install it.

I think its related to the networking driver failing to install according to the log file that i made the installer generate.

This issue completely blocks any usage of VirtualBox 2.2.0 on my computer and i have to use 2.1.4 for now.
