| #15768 | duplicate | Display stops refreshing after trying to "move" stuff around -> duplicate of #15511 | ||
| Description |
Host: "Windows 10", Guest: "Lubuntu 16.04", VirtualBox 5.1.2 r108956 win.amd64 If the guest addons version 5.1.2 is installed (Vbox.log.1) the guest stops refreshing the display, when stuff is moved around. A quick example is, open firefox, search for "asd", pick the first entry, click down on it (dont release), hold it and try to move the link. After that, the machine stops refreshing. I've found out only one way of "force" refreshing the current state, which is alternating between host and guest. I've installed the version 5.0.16(VBox.log). That version is working for that matter. Best regards Ken |

| #19432 | duplicate | Multiple display configuration does not work with VMSVGA and Linux guest | ||
| Description |
I am running an Kubuntu 19.10 (otherwise known as Ubuntu 19.10 with KDE) guest on Windows 10 host. Independently of configuration, guest always starts with 800x600 single display. Resizing the VM window allows for display size auto detection later. However, only one display is visible insode guest (according to xrandr). Can you please help identify the problem? I do really need 2 displays in my guest machine to work. Currently I am using VBoxSVGA as a workaround. NOTE: please do not mind VM's name, because it is "Kubuntu Disco" (i.e. 19.04), however the real version is "Kubuntu Eoan" (i.e. 19.10). |
