| #10203 | obsolete | Cursor disappears in Altium Designer 10 in the CAMtastic window | ||
| Description |
There is a bug in the Windows Guest addition driver that causes Altium's CAMtastic cross-hair cursor to disappear when it is moved into the black workspace of the CAMtastic window. I can make it work properly with the following workarounds. Here are the details:
I think this may have something to do with an exclusive-or operation that is not working properly in the driver. I attempted to take a screen-capture of the CAMtastic window with the cursor failing and have had no success. The cursor is invisible in my screen-capture. What is really odd is if I do one of the aforementioned steps to get around the cursor bug, I can now capture the cursor with the KDE screen-capture tool. I have attached an image of the *WORKING* cursor. When it is failing the white part of the cross-hair entering the black workspace is missing (it is black like the background). Again, this is by no means a showstopper now that I have found these workarounds. I am reporting it as the issue may turn out to be more serious in other situations. |

| #10204 | obsolete | Control Key Down/Up returns different events | ||
| Description |
I am running Win7 x64 as guest on Mac Lion 10.7.3 (just released) and I am developing WinForm C# application where I am trying to filter Key down and up events when I press Control button on keyboard. On Key down even I get correct Control set to true. But on Key up when Control btn is released it is set as ShiftKey and LMButton - KeyValue 17. |

| #10206 | obsolete | Unable to restore a saved-state virtual XP. Failed to load unit 'HGCM' (VERR_SSM_UNEXPECTED_DATA) | ||
| Description |
I cannot restore a saved state guest, my specific error (really cryptic!!) is not documented anywhere... The restore reach 99% and then: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine WKSRE11968XP-Enia. Failed to load unit 'HGCM' (VERR_SSM_UNEXPECTED_DATA). Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: Console Interface: IConsole {1968b7d3-e3bf-4ceb-99e0-cb7c913317bb} I guess it's related to a change on the clipboard sharing I've done before saving the guest. I always have troubles with clipboard sharing, I use Terminals (http://terminals.codeplex.com/) as RDP manager and I use it to manage my virtual XP too! I found out that if I keep the clipboard sharing on with "bidirectional" the clipboard stops working after the first "copy" operation. Since RDP protocol has its own clipboard sharing I keep VBox to "disable" and I do not have any problems. Well, yesterday I had to do changes on my virtual guest without networking so I used it directly via the console, of course clipboard sharing wasn't working because was "disabled"... I re-enabled it but after the final shutdown I have forgot to disable again! Today I started working to the guest via RDP and when the clipboard stopped working I realized I left it "bidirectional" on the vbox guest! I changed it while the guest was working. I had to reboot my host (Seven 32bit) and to do it quicker I didn't powered off the guest but saved it... Now I cannot resume it, I didn't try to discard the saved state yet because I want to keep it... But after creating this ticket I will have to discard it otherwise I won't be able to work... |
