| #10152 | obsolete | Dragging VM by bottom bar is erratic when the window has been focused by clicking the bottom bar | ||
| Description |
When I drag a VM window by the bottom bar, the result is erratic if the VM window was focused by clicking on the bottom bar. Clicking on the window contents or the top bar and then dragging the window by the bottom bar works as expected. I will attempt to attach a demonstration video. |

| #10155 | obsolete | "firmware upload failed (-110) when attempting to connect USB Wireless device (Atheros carl9170) | ||
| Description |
Host: Ubuntu 10.10 x64
Guest: BackTrack 5 R1 / 2.6.39.4
Device: NetGear WN111v2 (Atheros carl9170)
When booting this OS on bare metal I am able to attach the device without any issues. If you boot the OS in VirtualBox, you get a "firmware upload failed (-110)" error. Things I've tried:
I've also tried playing with the compat-wireless drivers from linuxwireless.org but still no go. I really think it is limited to a Linux host/linux guest issue. | #10158 | obsolete | Conflict with iPod and Guest additions | ||
| Description |
I'm using VirtualBox 4.1.8 r75467 on Ubuntu 11.10 running a Windows XP VM. When I connect my iPod (Nano 6th generation), I can access it normally from iTunes and synchronize. But, when the Guest additions are installed, iTunes doesn't recognize the iPod as valid anymore and suggest me to reinitialize it. Doing so doesn't fix anything and iTunes keeps on providing me with the same error message. Windows explorer can't see the iPod as a USB mass storage neither. If I uninstall the Guest additions, everything is fine again. Both Windows explorer and iTunes recognize the iPod and allow me to read and write from it. |
