#3615 fixed Cannot copy the virtual machine and give to client GT
Description

I have prepared a virtual machine, and I want to give it to a client for a demo.

In vmware workstation for example, and in Microsoft virtual machine, all what you need to do is copy the machine to a dvd or a usb key, and give it to the client, the client will double click the machine and it is there up and running.

In virtual box, you should instruct the client to install and mount, and change an xml file, and update the machine guid, and ……

Or you should put this to a script yourself and teach your client scripting :-)

Stupid, isn’t?

#3616 fixed RHEL5 x86_64 hangs randomly under OSX 10.5.6 running VBox 2.1.4 Sabuj Pattanayek
Description

RHEL5 x86_64 running on VBox 2.1.4 on an intel mac will hang randomly. One time I was just in system-config-services turning off a service and it froze, no response on any windows when clicking the mouse or trying to type anything into any terminal windows in the guest. Another time I had just finished running a graphics benchmark using UCSF Chimera 1.3 x86_64 version in the guest.

I've attached all the logs but I don't know what to look for. The guest logs (/var/log/messages) don't show anything critical.

The host OS (OSX 10.5.6) does not hang/crash when this happens.
