| #11520 | invalid | VERR_PGM_PHYS_PAGE_RESERVED installing Linux 64 bit guest on Win7 64 bit host | ||
| Description |
I am trying to install a Debian Wheezy 64 bit guest OS on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit host. The hardware is a Samsung notebook with Intel Core i7 64-bit quad core with hardware acceleration enabled (VT-x). VBox is version 4.2.6. All my 32-bit guests install and run just fine. Some research I did on the forum suggested disabling nested paging which I did but it still stops before installation even really gets started with the critical error. I also tried installing Debian Squeeze 64 bit guest with the same error. I have attached a zipped archive of my VBox log. |
