| #3506 | fixed | Option to completely disable mouse capturing | ||
| Description |
I've currently got a Debian Lenny virtual machine running that is essentially a headless box. X is never going to be installed, and after about half an hour of fruitless searching, I've come to the conclusion that it is not possible to disable mouse capturing. Would it be possible, for example, to add a "peripherals" option of some description in the VM properties to disable the virtual mouse device entirely? |

| #3507 | fixed | Enable DHCP with internal networking => Fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
There should be an option to enable DHCP when using internal networking (to allow guests in the same internal network to get IPs automatically thus minimizing required administration). This could also be achieved if there were an option to allow more than one VMs to reside in the same NAT (as VMWare does). |

| #3508 | fixed | Performance problems for 2.1.4, OS X host, Win XP guest | ||
| Description |
Hi, This ticket is to continue discussion of Windows performance problems from this forum thread, and ticket #3172. Having tried 2.1.2, then downgraded to 2.1.0 as users recommended in the thread, I just upgraded to 2.1.4 and I have worse performance problems than ever. As soon as I boot the Windows VM, CPU Utilization hits at 100% and stays there so that within a minute or two my machine's fan is howling. I uninstalled the 2.1.0 Guest Additions and the problem remains just as bad. Is this a configuration problem of some sort? I've tried changing various settings but that doesn't seem to have much effect on the problem. |
