| #3475 | fixed | display issues when running Seamless and under Compviz. | ||
| Description |
When running in Seamless mode, under Fedora 10, with Compviz as the window manager, and NO Windows apps running, the root window get corrupted visually. Usually I get a reproduction of the Windows desktop centered on the display. This hides other windows on the same desktop.
Let me know if you need more information to reproduce the issue. |

| #3476 | fixed | Host networking Issues and potential fix | ||
| Description |
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but this is a potential fix for some of the hostif networking problems under windows on an os x host. When I install a windows XP guest on an OS X (10.5) host and select host interface networking with a virtual Intel 1000T server nic, the connection is flaky and tempermental. Certain sites connect and others don't. Local networking is hit and miss. If i go to the intel website and download the official drivers for the pro1000t complete with intels proset util etc, and install these in the guest vm, they replace the existing drivers installed by virtualbox and/or the xp install cd. After installing these drivers everything works perfectly. Driver link: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/detail_desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=4275 Is it possible that there is a problem with the drivers installed by virtualbox and/or the xp installation media causing problems? Or does installing the official intel driver reset some other things? Anyway, thought you might be interested in this lead, as it's solved all my problems instantly... Cheers |

| #3481 | fixed | VBox reboots the host machine each second time I restore it. | ||
| Description |
Host machine is Debian testing, vanilla kernel 2.6.28.7 #1 SMP PREEMPT i686. Guest is WinXP Pro with guest additions installed on it. VirtualBox was installed from the repository http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian lenny. The package is virtualbox-2.1_2.1.4-42893_Debian_lenny_i386.deb. I'm able to run and save the virtual machine once, and when I try to restore it the second time the progress bar evolves from 0 to 99% in a 2-3 seconds, then the host machine suddenly reboots. There are NO LOG file being created. After reboot I am able again to restore this virtual machine and to work with it. But if I save it and then try to restore it again, the host immediately reboots. This happens invariably since I had upgraded to v. 2.1.4. I am attaching the log of runned and saved machine, because there is no log of failure. |
