| #16476 | wontfix | Enhancment - VBoxBugReport to include guest logs, optional components | ||
| Description |
VBoxBugReport seems to be a great information collecting tool. However, as it stands right now, I believe that there is a vital piece of information missing: the Guest Logs. It should be trivial to include them along with the Guest.vbox and the GuestProperties. The whole subdirectory with the 4 logs. On the other hand, under Windows, there is information included that is not always necessary for basic troubleshooting. For example, on my system, a typical report will include:
That alone makes the size of the compressed report almost 1.5 MB, which makes it not attachable to the forums. So, please also consider the possibility of adding command line switches to control the output of the VBoxBugReport tool:

| #16473 | duplicate | Double tap not working after installing Extension Pack -> duplicate of #14632 | ||
| Description |
Hi, I have a laptop with precision touchpad (the one included in all modern laptops since early 2015) with Windows 10. When installing any guest (Windows 7, Windows 10, Ubuntu, etc), double taps works fine (just as double click). The problem is after installing Extension Pack: after doing that, double tap stop working, and happens in all guest OS. |

| #16469 | fixed | Unresponsive after sleep | ||
| Description |
After upgrading to VB 5.1.14 I have had mouse and keyboard problems. Host: SuSE Leap 64 Bit Default 4.1.36 Kernel Guests: Various 1) If the system is idle long enough for one of the guests to go to sleep, the entire system stops accepting any input. I can not use any of the controls on the VBox Manager, the window manager (openBox), or any of the guest machines - either applications running in the guest, or any of the VBox decorations. The only option is to ssh to the box and kill the VBox threads. On restart, all of the machines that were running are now in an aborted state 2) With the VBox manager running I can no longer use the mouse right-click on an open spot on the desktop to bring up the window manager menu. If I close VBox manager, the mouse right-click again works. Everything was working in 5.1.12 However, on another server I am only having the 2nd issue. This 2nd machine only ever has 1 guest running at a time and only has a single processor. |
