#3412 fixed DNS breaks when first server in /etc/resolv.conf is broken Chase Yarbrough
Description

In ubuntu host, DNS works fine when the first DNS server in /etc/resolv.conf doesn't work. However, in the windows xp guest, DNS is broken. Workaround: move around DNS servers in /etc/resolv.conf. This workaround isn't great because it seems that resolv.conf is regenerated whenever NetworkManager is restarted.

#3414 fixed Windows BSOD with Host Interface ==> fixed in SVN doug.dockter@…
Description

I'm running VirtualBox 2.1.4 on XP SP3. When I select "host interface" as the network setting and start my Windows NT 4.0 VM, I get a DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_BSOD on the XP host. If I change the network setting to NAT, I don't have that issue.
