#8608 fixed fedora 14 32bit get frozen while updating and setting change anonymous
Description

I`ve set the settings of the fedora machine from 1CPU to 4 CPU and the RAM from 1024MB to 4096MB, with activating IO APIC.

Fedora starts up normally, but was very slow during running. Starting an update -> fetching package list, get fedora frozen.

#11339 fixed fc7 image panics on newer versions of VirtualBox Jeff Frontz
Description

I have a Fedora Core 7 image that was working fine on VirtualBox 2.x and 3.2. I've recently exported the image and am running it on 4.0.8 and 4.2.4 -- where I now get kernel panics (about once every three days when running under heavy load). There's nothing that appears in the virtual box logs; it's strictly in the /var/log/messages on the guest. While I can't say confidently that the panic is always the same place, my recollection is that it's very similar (backtrace at the bottom).

contents of /var/log/messages from latest panic:

#15829 invalid faulty mouse-cursor rendering in Manjarolinux host -> distribution problem manjaro_oberon
Description

On Manjarolinux (Archlinux-based) with the guest using vbox-video it looks like the transparent parts of the xcursor are rendered solid black. When switching the guest to vesa-video instead, the rendering is correct but the cursor is "uncaptured" before reaching the horizontal edges of the guest-box. What you see in the second screenshot is the moment when the guest cursor has stopped on the way to the right edge and the host cursor has re-appeared outside of the guestbox. This issue is present since vbox v5.1

Build environment: linux44 or linux46 qt 5.7.0 glibc 2.24 libxcursor 1.1.14
