| #3322 | fixed | win2000 VM cannot start anymore after uninstall of guestadditions | ||
| Description |
I have a working win2000 guest, but it has the problem of not remembering the window geometry when the VM is closed down and started again. I know there are related tickets for this issue, and this should be solved by upgrading to a recent version of the guestadditions. However, this seems not possible for me. After uninstalling the guestadditions the installer insists on rebooting the win2000 guest, which cannot startup again and either crashes or hangs during the win2000 startup stage. I am running: -virtualbox version 2.1.2 -an old Innotek version of the guestadditons, version 1.5.6r28241 -win2000 with all updates untill today (11-feb-2009) How should I solve this without reinstalling the win2000 and all my apps again? |

| #3330 | fixed | Mac OS X only: Non optimal message | ||
| Description |
While creating a new machine here at vbox (a Ubuntu64 guest on a MacOS 10.5 host) I received a message (when looking at its settings) that I was using non-optimal settings. vbox should point where to fix it, it is kind of odd to give out the message and not to say what should we do about it. |
