| #7416 | invalid | flash - externalinterface.call | ||
| Description |
There is a problem in flash into the virtual system. The function externalinterface.call("myFunction", "myArg1"); is used to call javascript function from flash. With DJNativeSwing, we can use externalinterface.call("sendCommand", "myFunction", "myArg1"); for the same thing in Java. This function is blocked by the virtual system. The data exchange between flash and other is not completely block because we can pass variables as normal. A lot of programmers use to develop into your virtual system software for security and compatibility reasons. I love virtualbox but it's a pity to have (small) bugs as this. Thank you a lot if you correct it. PS : maybe the virtualbox block a precise type of communication and more than flash discuss... |

My home dir is encryped using the default method of Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04). Creating a fixed size hard-disk in ~/.VirtualBox fails, with VBoxSVC consuming 99% CPU. Creating the hard-disk outside of the home works. |
