| #7108 | obsolete | Linux kernel >= 2.6.32 and VirtualBox >= 3.1.6 causes "Delayed Write Failed" for iPod on WinXP guest | ||
| Description |
If I run VirtualBox (any version since 3.1.6) on a Linux host using kernel 2.6.32 or higher, I cannot use iTunes -- which is running on a Windows XP SP3 32-bit guest -- to sync my iPod through the USB interface. After about 30 minutes of sitting around trying to write to the iPod, Windows throws up a "Delayed write failed" error, as seen in the attached screenshot (E:\ is the drive letter of the iPod). I have tried enabling/disabling write caching on the drive through the Windows Control Panel (which was suggested by several online sources), but changing this setting has no effect. |

| #7189 | obsolete | Host Refresh Issue with Seamless Mode since begining of 3.2.x release | ||
| Description |
Hi, Sometimes when I put my XP VM into Seamless Mode I get left with a blue bar (not the taskbar) where the Windows last attempts to place the XP taskbar. I find this usually happens after giving the Host (Windows 7) a have work out. Sometimes maximizing then going to seamless mode fixes this but today it hasn't and a restart is the only option. See image which shows what I mean. I never had this issue with 3.1.x, only started with the 3.2 availability (I'm on 3.2.6). System is a Dell Optiplex 745 with intel GPU, 2GB RAM, 1.8Ghz Dual Core. |
