| #3292 | fixed | Guest Windows NT4.0, Microsoft Installer V2.0 fails to install some programs | ||
| Description |
I don't know whether this might be problem of Microsoft or Virtualbox, but I have also other problems on Windows Vista where I am unable to install all Windows Updates and security patches (but this is treated in another ticket). I have Mac Mini Intel Core2Duo 1,83GHz with Mac Mini Leopard as host. I installed Windows NT4.0 with SP6 as guest. Also I installed the last Windows Installer V2.0 from Microsoft. I am unable to complete some installation programs with Microsoft Installer. At least the installer description of Opera V9.63 mentions that it supports Windows NT. So why it fails??? But as I mentioned, this could be also a problem of Microsoft and Windows NT is very old. |

| #3296 | fixed | Improvement Proposal: Show Mac OS X dock when mouse cursor reaches bottom border | ||
| Description |
Only improvement proposal: Host: Mac OS X. Guest: E.g. Windows or Linux Guest window is maximized (full screen mode). Today when I move the mouse cursor on the top border, the Apple menu bar is shown. This very practical e.g. to choose another space of the host. However, when I move to bottom border I would like to see the dock of the host to select easily a application of the host. This might be enabled by setting in virtualbox. Today I have to go to upper border, select another space and then select in the other space a host application from the dock. This is not very comfortable. But as stated this is only improvement proposal. Congratulation, you have done a very good job with Virtualbox. Best regards from Germany. |

| #3298 | fixed | WinXP host - hostif crash - Bugcheck 0xFC / fixed in 2.1.4 | ||
| Description |
After few seconds virtual machine is started (but somtimes also immediately), the whole system crashes if "host interface" network mode is enabled; using all others network modes or without network, virtual machines work fine. I tried with Linux and Windows guests and the result is always the same. PC where crash occurs is a notebook Asus W5F |
