#5044 fixed The vRDP UI stops updating when using 2 CPUs Stine Kristiansen
Description

I'm having problems with vRDP on a 64 bit Debian Squeeze host and a 32 bit Win XP client. The UI stops updating when I give the guest 2 CPUs. When going back to one it starts working again.

Typically I start the guest, then connect to vRDP using rdesktop. It looks fine until I try to enter my password. Nothing happens on screen. If I disconnect and reconnect I can do one more mouse click before it stops updating - so I can see that I managed to log in previously - the screen just did not update to show me that.

virtualbox-3.0: Installed: 3.0.6-52128_Debian_lenny

The guest additions is also up to date. The guest is a fresh install of XP. I also found this problem on another system running VB 3.0.2 where the XP guest has been trough several VBox versions.

#988 worksforme SpeedFan problem when starting Virtual Box Glenn
Description

When I start VirtualBox, SpeedFan does not work anymore. SpeedFan does not show any temperatures anymore and fans are not adjusted. Restart is required in order to get SpeedFan working again.

This problem happens as soon as VirtualBox shows the XP boot logo. (I think this might be because of USB integration or so).

When SpeedFan stops working and I close it, then start it new, I get an error message saying that it could not read the memory. (I do not know the error message exactly. Will post later).

#2939 fixed Suddenly unable to start 64Bit SuSE Thomas Stinner
Description

A few weeks ago i was able to start and run SLES 10 SP2 x86_64 within VirtualBox running on Windows Vista 64 Ultimate.

Now, i get a Guru Meditation error as soon as the kernel is going to be loaded.

When i chose the failsafe option it is loading and running ok.

When i disable AMD-V within Virtualbox the kernel is loading but says "Your CPU does not support long mode. Use a 32bit distribution."
