| #7807 | obsolete | Host-only mode FTP Issue (other OS) | ||
| Description |
My use-case: FTP Server running in a DOS VM My Setup: Freedos with AMD Packet Driver, WATTCP, FTP Server When I FTP into the DOS VM (different clients, eithter Win 7 FTP, Total Commander, WS-FTP etc) I can get a connection (User/password) but the "DIR" seems to take forever Same result with other FTP-Servers in the DOS VM (NCSA Telnet, KA9Q/EZNOS) When I use bridged network it works. So the problem seems to ly in the use of the connections (control/data) with FTP. I could not test a "PASSIVE" Mode FTP server for DOS, that does not use separate connections for control and data. VirtualBox 3.0.4 (released 2009-08-04) This is a maintenance release. The following items were fixed and/or added: NAT: fixed passive ftp access to host server (bug #4427) |
