| #9544 | obsolete | GUI shows different window after focus has been lost | ||
| Description |
Hi, I'm using Virtual Box 4.1.2 on OS X Lion with the latest patches. But independent of the OS-Version I have this "error" on OS X Snowleopard too. I try to change the settings of a VM and click on the VM and then on settings at the top of the main window. Now the config window pops up and I select the storage option at the top. Now I want to change the ISO file in the virtual cd drive, so I choose the drive, click on the "cd-symbol" and select "Choose a virtual CD/DVD disk file..." (screenshot #1). Then the window that lets me select the file opens (screenshot no. 2). If this window looses the focus a totally different window shows up to select the file. If you move this window you can see that the first "select-file-window" is behind the VM settings window and is not accessible anymore (screenshot no. 3). In the "new" window you can select a file, but you are never able to click "ok". All you can do is to click "cancel" and then you're not able todo anything else. All you can do is to close the VM settings window and - sometimes - watch virtual box crash. The crash doesn't appear everytime but most of the time the GUI is not responding anymore. If you have questions, just contact me. KR, Grimeton |

| #9545 | obsolete | usb support hangs usb mouse from host and guest | ||
| Description |
running 4.1.2 with same version of extension kit, when I plug in a usb device but I want it seen by host instead of taken by guest, I right click on the usb activity button and then deselect the usb device just plugged in, but as soon as I do that, the mouse (usb device) hangs and I have to log off my host to get mouse control back. This is the first time I have ever seen this issue and I been using vbox since early 2 days. I did not find this listed in the forums / current tickets. I am not sure if this should go under USB support or guest extensions (where the USB support is) I just recently upgraded from a 4.0 version |
