| Description |
I have a harddisk image that was installed XP SP3 in QEMU, which boots fine in both QEMU 0.9.1 and VMWare Player 2.5.1. When I try booting this harddisk image with VirtualBox, it stalls and when I mount a CD Image from Menu, I get VERR_REM_TOO_MANY_TRAPS. Log and screenshot atteched. |

| #7755 | obsolete | google chrome crash linux host when windows client is using usb to connect to E71 cellphone | ||
| Description |
I'm using an Ubuntu 64bit Linux as host, running VBox with a brand new Windows XP3 guest. The guest's only new software installed is the Nokia Ovi Suite, which I use to manage my E71 cellphone thru USB. Now, when the cellphone is connected, if I start Google Chrome in the host, the whole host crashes suddenly. When VBox is not started, or I'm not using my cellphone, Chrome works fine. I don't notice other problems on the host can cause this problem. I'm attaching a VBox.log file. Note: I once installed KVM, so a "sudo rmmod kvm-intel" is needed before running VBox. Don't know if there is a connection. |
