| #1779 | obsolete | "Auto-resize guest display" doesn't resize guest after boot | ||
| Description |
In VB 1.5.6, if I had the "Auto-resize guest display" enabled, the resolution of the guest was changed right after boot. On 1.6.0 (and continues on 1.6.2), the option is set, but the machine boots with a lower resolution. Hots+G doesn't work either, I must change the size of the window for VB to detect the resolution is different. In my case, my host resolution is 1280x1024 on linux. When I boot a XP VM, it boots at 1152x864, although the window is maximized and has a large border. After restore/maximize the guest window, it goes to full size (1264x881 in my case). |

| #4253 | fixed | "Automatic" setting for bridge device | ||
| Description |
The "Bridged Adapter" network setting requires that a specific network adapter be selected for a VM, and that adapter can't be changed without powering down the guest. For mobile users that frequently switch between wired and wireless network connections, this can be a problem. It would be ideal if VirtualBox offered an Automatic setting which connected the guest's bridged network adapter to the host's physical interface using a set of rules such as the following:
An Automatic setting of this variety would only work for TCP/IP-based networking, but that's perfectly fine for the majority of applications. In cases where Automatic could not be used, a specific physical interface could still be selected. |

| #12141 | wontfix | "Automatically Move pointer to the default button in a dialog box" settings not working | ||
| Description |
I am using Windows XP Professional x32 as the guest OS and Windows 7 Professional x64 as the Host OS. Even after I enable "Automatically Move pointer to the default button in a dialog box" option inside mouse settings on Guest, it is not moving the pointer to the default button. I enabled the option for host OS also. It is working fine. |
