#25 fixed Unable to create a VM with a dot "." in VM name Technologov
Description

If you try to create a VM with a dot "." in the VM name, VirtualBox will fail.

Software: Windows XP Pro SP2 Eng, no extra patches, VirtualBox 1.3.2 Full.

Try to create a VM named "Linux Test v1.0" using standard parameters and clicking next, you will get this error: =====================================================

Could not create the settings file 'H:\IVMs\Linux Test v1.0\Linux Test v1.0.xml' (VERR_PATH_NOT_FOUND).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: Machine Interface: IMachine {fd443ec1-0009-4f5b-9282-d72760a66916} Callee: IVirtualBox {e1d95593-f579-4f47-b489-0b67181014e1}

===================================================== When using "Linux Test v1" instead of "Linux Test v1.0" all works fine.

Because this bug affects a LOT of users, I assign this high priority. I believe it's not hard-to-fix.

#26 fixed Crash when Hard Disk full on host Technologov
Description

Software: Windows XP Pro SP2 Eng, no extra patches, VirtualBox 1.3.2 Full.

VirtualBox crashes when the hard disk on the real PC (host) gets full.

recommended behavior:

MS Virtual PC 2004 simply pauses the VM and informs the user of such a problem.

The VM can be shut-down or unpaused. If there is still no enough space, it gives this warning again, and pauses again.
