| #12749 | fixed | Cannot copy text from VirtualBox About box | ||
| Description |
When commenting on other tickets or filing a new ticket, it can be useful to specify the version and build of VirtualBox. However, in the About box (at least under Mac OS X) the version and build string is not selectable text. To add insult to injury, the About box disappears as soon as it loses focus, so you can't even have it visible while typing up a ticket in your browser. It would be nice to see both of these issues corrected. |

| #3615 | fixed | Cannot copy the virtual machine and give to client | ||
| Description |
I have prepared a virtual machine, and I want to give it to a client for a demo. In vmware workstation for example, and in Microsoft virtual machine, all what you need to do is copy the machine to a dvd or a usb key, and give it to the client, the client will double click the machine and it is there up and running. In virtual box, you should instruct the client to install and mount, and change an xml file, and update the machine guid, and …… Or you should put this to a script yourself and teach your client scripting :-) Stupid, isn’t? |

| #5552 | obsolete | Cannot copy/paste text from os/2 guest to winXP guest | ||
| Description |
openSuse v11.1 Linux sma-station12l 2.6.27.37-0.1-default #1 SMP 2009-10-15 14:56:58 +0200 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Copying text in an os/2 (v4.52) guest cannot be pasted directly into a windows winXP (sp3) guest. Nothing happens. If I first paste the text into a Linux application, say vi or openoffice, copy that text, then I can paste it into windows. I have updated the Win Guest Additions to v3.0.12. The os/2 Additions are still at v3.0.4(?), dated 30-Jun-2009. |
