| #3032 | duplicate | VirtualBox halt host OS when 'host interface' option is used | ||
| Description |
VirtualBox halt the whole host OS when I choose 'host interface' in its network settings. HW is Dell Optiplex 755 The host OS is Cent OS 5.2 x64 with nearly all packages installed. Booted without XEN kernel. The guest OS is also CentOS 5.2 x64 with 'server' option without gui installed. Guest additions are installed. VirtualBox version is the latest 2.1. I used NAT, this problem doesn't occur. The host OS halted, even mouse can't move, I have to power off physically. Anyone has a clue to solve this? BR |

| #2067 | fixed | shut down dialog offscreen in seamless mode => fixed in 2.0.2 | ||
| Description |
When I try to shut down virtualbox 2.0 on Leopard, the "save machine state/send the shutdown signal/power off the machine" dialog appears fully onscreen than slides halfway off the left side of the screen. This only happens in seamless mode. This did not happen with virtualbox 1.6.x. Please see attached screencap. FYI, I moved my os-x dock from the left side of the screen to the bottom of the screen after I took the screen shot, and it didn't help the issue. |

| #8514 | obsolete | Virtualbox USB Error. Failed to attach Unknown Device on Win7 x64 Enterprise Host. | ||
| Description |
This is in reference to this post: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=39753#p178233 No matter what version of Virtualbox I use, with 'Extension Pack' installed on v4.0.0+, I continuously get a 'Failed to attach the USB Device Unknown device' message when booting up any guest OS. I'm running Win7 x64 Enterprise and I tried 'Admin Mode' and 'Compatibility Mode'. Nada. |
