6,00 GB RAM
Windows 7 x64 Professional (SP1)
USB-Device

The things I did ...
Guest Windows 7 x32 Professional (SP1):
- Boot up guest
- >> Dump VirtualBox.exe (before) <W7_VirtualBox_before.DMP>
- link usb-device
- start HP-Webcam Software -> blue LED on web-cam activates, system guest freezes, cpu up to 50%
- >> Dump VirtualBox.exe(after) <W7_VirtualBox_after.DMP>
- shutdown over acpi (no effect)
- send ctrl+alt+entf (no effect)
- taskmanager cancel process VirtualBox.exe -> guest window closes, process stayes active at 50%, LED off, signal of host system that usb-device is back, process VBoxSVC now 50% too, host system is almost innacessable.
- >> Dump VirtualBox.exe (last) <W7_VirtualBox_last.DMP>
- >> Dump VBoxSVC.exe (last) <W7_VBoxSVC_last.DMP>
- >> Save LOG (last) <W7_VBox_last.log>
- taskmanager cancel process VBoxSVC (success)
- host system is responding again
- process VirtualBox.exe still (50%)
- taskmanager cancel process VirtualBox.exe (unsuccessful)
- reboot host to get rid of process

Cannot Open ARC Files in Basis IDE with Guest OS Windows 7 on Mac OS X Host
|
|
Christopher Mukherjee
|
| Description |
I have VirtualBox 4.1.0 installed on my Mac OS X Host. I created a Windows 7 (64 bit) vdi Guest OS.
I have properly installed Basis IDE. The Basis IDE is based on the open-source NetBeans IDE.
I am able to open the .src code files, but cannot open the .arc GUI files. This means that I can create the code behind my program, but cannot easily create the look of it.
When I try to open the .arc files, the Windows Guest OS crashes and tries to reboot, but freezes at the Windows Logo screen (before the Log In). If I manually "Power off the machine", it starts properly the next time.
I need to be able to work on the ARC files. Is there a fix to this problem?
Thanks
