| #3058 | fixed | vbox incorrectly claims SVME when not using SVM -> fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
also filed with more details at https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=460042 VirtualBox claims SVME on phenom CPUs when hardware virtualisation is disabled and also does not release SVME after the VM shut down. This causes no visible effects for most users - except on OpenSUSE-patched KVM which specifically checks that SVME is not used before using it, which means that it is not possible to use KVM during or after VirtualBox doing software-virtualisation. |

| #3059 | fixed | HostMemoryLow on Solaris 10 x86 u6, VBox 2.1.0 | ||
| Description |
We are experiencing a recurring problem on several of our Solaris hosts. We have 64 bit Dell 2950's running Solaris 10 w/ 12 GB of memory on each box. We only have 2-3 VMs running on each box, each with 1 GB of memory assigned. If we try to set the memory of a VM to 2 GB, we get a HostMemoryLow message. This happens even after rebooting the host. ZFS memory usage has been limited to 1 GB, and the host OS shows access to all 12 GB of memory. The VMs are all windows 2003 server. I am unable to provide the VBox.log due to corporate reasons. |
