| #13575 | obsolete | Cannot sync my phone or connect USB-stick | ||
| Description |
Debian GNU/Linux 7.7 (wheezy) 32-bit host and Windows 7 64-bit guest, same problem in Windows 8.1 64-bit and Windows XP 32-bit guest.
When I connect USB-device like USB-stick or my phone I could allways acces USB stick from My Computer or sync my phone with Zune (Windows Phone sync software) no problem.
But when i upgraded to 4.3.16 from 4.3.14, guest immediately crashes or after few seconds. Never had any problems before. When I downgrade back to 4.3.14, it works again. And yes I remembered to upgrade Extension pack.
Here is something that I found in /var/log/messages after guest crash:

| #7959 | worksforme | Windows 7 host BSOD with VirtualBox 4.0.0 | ||
| Description |
Hello, After upgrading to VB 4.0.0, my Windows 7 x64 host crashes with a ''DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE'' blue screen of death. This happened to me twice, and I have deduce that it is because of VirtualBox because it is the only installation that touch the drivers I've done recently. It seems to happen after waking up from sleep mode (with a delay of about five minutes). This corresponds to the indication of Microsoft about this BSOD :
