| #16955 | obsolete | Mac OS X, VMM: Can not close "about box" when new version pop-up is open at VMM startup | ||
| Description |
This is difficult to reproduce, as it only happens when the new version popup appears when starting VMM. If the new version announcement pop-up is not cleared, and the about box is displayed, the about box cannot be closed. Scenario: Start VMM VMM displays pop-up announcement for newer version Click on Virtual Box menu, click About Virtual Box the about box cannot be closed with either the close button or the red "x". Manually displaying the new version announcement does not have this effect. Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.5 VMM 5.1.24 r117012 (Qt5.6.2) |

| #16953 | duplicate | VirtualBox UI crashes when searching for files under MacOS | ||
| Description |
It happens on my Mac since VirtualBox 5.1.22 or probably even earlier, and continues to be so under 5.1.26. Every time when I am setting my virtual machine preferences, such as mounting ISOs, appointing shared folders, if I search for files in the opened dialog window, the VirtualBox UI will crash suddenly. But this does not affect the operating virtual machines, if there is any. Therefore I think it is some sort of UI bug instead of anything underlying goes wrong. |

| #16949 | duplicate | Share Folder Freezes | ||
| Description |
I have a Windows 7 Professional 64 bits VM running on Virtual Box Version 5.1.24 r117012 (Qt5.6.2) on macOS Sierra Version 10.12.5 (16F73). I use Share Folder in the Windows VM (auto-mount and permanent). I edit files directly on the Shared Folder. From time to time (and now more often than not) the Shared Folder freezes, even though it still shows as connected. When this happens, the Windows VM becomes unresponsive and doesn't even shut down (I have to force it by powering off the VM). A similar ticket existed already (15662) but I was recommended to open a new one (?). Attached the Vbox.log |
