| #8225 | obsolete | Inconsistent state when snapshot fails with insufficient disk space error | ||
| Description |
I tried to create a snapshot in vbox-3.2.12 and it failed due to insufficient disk space. I fixed the disk space issue but subsequent attempts to create a snapshot failed with some obscure message that some file is in use. I was only able to manipulate snapshots again after shutting down this VM. I don't think this issue is host/guest specific, but guest was Solaris and host was FreeBSD. |

| #8230 | obsolete | Ubuntu guest isn't stable under MacOS host | ||
| Description |
version 4.0.0.r69151 i386 on Darwin 10.6.0 i386 On the surface it seems like it works fine. But under heavy load strange things begin happening. I have 2GB memory and 2 cores on my laptop and I have set 1515MB memory for Ubuntu and 2 CPUs (quite extreme setting but it should still work). When I run some compile with large memory and CPU consumption gnome terminal stops accepting keystrokes. System aborts randomly. Sound playing in the Chrome browser begins to play slower than its supposed to. Unable to close Chrome browser. ACPI shutdown signal doesn't cause full Ubuntu shutdown, only causes the shutdown window with options to appear. Try using Ubuntu guest for various things plus run large compile and you will see the same issue. |

| #8254 | fixed | VBox prevents shutdown of MacOS when there are no guests running | ||
| Description |
When user presses the power button and there are no guests running vbox GUI app should just quit and let shutdown to proceed like most other programs would do. Instead it prevents MacOS from shutting down and quits itself at the same time. So that the subsequent press of the power button causes system shutdown. Vbox should only prevent shutdown when at least one guest in running. |
