| #17945 | invalid | Trouble with set-up. | ||
| Description |
I have connected once yesterday morning with Virtual Box to a Virtual Environment on the home PC. Since, the only message I get when trying to run this is 'No bootable medium found! System Halted.' I have created a new disk after running it for the first time and then pointed the wizard to locate the file image file VBoxGuestAdditionions.iso This does not work! |

| #9703 | worksforme | Kernel module does not load anymore (Windows Host) | ||
| Description |
After upgrading from VirtualBox 4.1.2 to 4.1.4 yesterday, it stopped working at all. Every time I try to run my Ubuntu host it says that it cannot find the Kernel Module, and return this error: The virtual machine 'buntu' has terminated unexpectedly during startup.
Codice 'uscita (exit code): E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Componente (component): Machine
Interfaccia (interface): IMachine {5eaa9319-62fc-4b0a-843c-0cb1940f8a91}
(There is no VBox.log file I can attach) I tried reverting back to 4.1.2 and back to 4.1.4, but it yields the same result. Furthermore, I tried to be very careful about permissions and run everything as an administrator, but it didn't help at all. |

| #2337 | duplicate | file operations between geust and host bluescreen Windows guest | ||
| Description |
Hello, for a concise summary: copying an Excel file from an XP guest to the shared folder of a Linux host crashes the guest every time. The topic has been discussed in the forum, please see this thread: http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?t=9964 for details and crash log. An update on the host OS version: I have copied the image to an Opensuse 11.1 host - same problems. |
