| #7236 | obsolete | iTunes crashes Windows VM | ||
| Description |
openSuse v11.3 iTunes crashes VirtualBox. Poof! Gone. It may take a few minutes but the result is reliable. It must use some of the same code as Safari (see issue #7140.) It is does not matter if an iPod is connected. Although the host has a quad core CPU (amd athlon), the windows VM is allowed only one (see issue #6455). |

| #913 | obsolete | iTunes can't burn CDs | ||
| Description |
iTunes (latest version as of today) on a Windows XP SP2 guest (all available critical and optional updates, as of today) on an Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 dev machine, cannot burn CDs. iTunes simply says something like "Can't find burner or burning software." Passthrough and all that is enabled. Reading CDs works just fine. Windows and iTunes are detecting the blank CD-R media. The VBox.log is filled with a ton of errors identical (except the timestamp) to the following: 00:01:52.334 PIIX3 ATA: LUN#2: CD-ROM passthrough command (0x28) error 5 VERR_DEV_IO_ERROR |

| #6973 | obsolete | iTunes 9.1 crashes on XP SP3 running on hosts w/o VT-x | ||
| Description |
Since a couple of versions, current iTunes versions crash shortly after starting on XP running within VirtualBox. This seems to be related to the fact that VT-x is not available on the host system. According to this forum post it can be replicated. My machine is Linux based and does not have VT-x available, iTunes crashes. The OP has it running on Windows and it shows the same behavior. |
