| #16274 | fixed | Critical error running Knoppix from live disc (VERR_IEM_INSTR_NOT_IMPLEMENTED, movq...xmm0) | ||
| Description |
Booting a Knoppix 7.7 live DVD ISO. The only thing going on in it was gparted 1+ hour (and 82+ GiB) into copying a partition on a USB external disk, behind a screen saver. I switched to the VM window by clicking in it. The screen saver stopped, and I immediately got the critical error notice. VirtualBox version 5.1.10 Host OS: macOS 10.12.1 |

| #12923 | fixed | Segmentation Fault on Linux (CentOS 6.5) | ||
| Description |
I have been using VirtualBox to run a Windows 7 guest on CentOS for a couple of years. After updating to CentOS 6.5 I get a Segmentation fault error right after I start the VirtualBox. It does not open the GUI. I can still run the guest with the SDL option, (VBoxManage startvm --type sdl OR with VBoxSDL) but I cannot get it to start it with the GUI. |
