#1582 duplicate Mac OS X: cannot configure raw disk support Michal Suchanek
Description

It is currently impossible to configure a real hardware disk or partition for use with a virtual machine in VirtualBox.

It is technically possible to do so but only by using a configuration tool for another virtualization solution, and it does not work on OS X.

There is no option for configuring multiple CD drives. As it is possible to configure any image as a CD-rom as long as its name ends with .iso it would be a possible workaround for the inability to configure physical disks.

Still it is very cumbersome to use this way as one cannot use a rescue live CD with so configures image. It is necessary to install an OS to an virtual disk image and only then it is possible to read disk images as CDs.

#1583 worksforme Installing a Second instance of NT 4.0 fails dcarreira
Description

When installing a second instance of an NT 4.0 Guest fails (it happens using XP Pro or Ubuntu Hardy 64 bit edition)

#1584 duplicate Guest Additions don't apply initial Host window size Malte S. Stretz
Description

There's a small glitch starting XP with Guest Additions on a Ubuntu 8.04 host: When I maximize the window while the Windows splash screen is still displayed (ie. the graphics driver not loaded), Windows won't recognize the screen size later on and just switch to whatever resolution was configured (800x600 in my case). I have to manually restore and re-maximize the window to get rid of the grey area around the window.

Maybe the Guest Additions/the driver should request the current screen size from the host after they got loaded or after the login or something like that.
