| #1584 | duplicate | Guest Additions don't apply initial Host window size | ||
| Description |
There's a small glitch starting XP with Guest Additions on a Ubuntu 8.04 host: When I maximize the window while the Windows splash screen is still displayed (ie. the graphics driver not loaded), Windows won't recognize the screen size later on and just switch to whatever resolution was configured (800x600 in my case). I have to manually restore and re-maximize the window to get rid of the grey area around the window. Maybe the Guest Additions/the driver should request the current screen size from the host after they got loaded or after the login or something like that. |

| #1585 | fixed | trac problems | ||
| Description |
The issue tracking system for VirtualBox is very hard to use. For some reason it logs me off before I can type enough text to describe a problem. Also it does not allow changing the issue properties once the issue is reported. Things like version or summary are fixed. |

| #1586 | fixed | USB Support is intermittent | ||
| Description |
I installed 1.6.0(no previous versions tried), and set up a XP Home guest on a Vista host. USB controllers were selected, along with filters being made (for a usb software key-lock, and a usb printer). Initially, they worked normally, but as a few days passed, I started getting "proxy not created" errors, and then the guest would intermittently see - and not see the devices. Now the guest will not recognize the devices at all(not listed in the device manager). A harware search does nothing. A rollback to an earlier snapshot does not help. Trying to select the usb devices from the guest dropdown does nothing. Without USB, VirtualBox is useless to me. Other than USB not working right, this seems to be a decent VM....but again, I have to have USB. |
