| Description |
I was using VBox 4.3.9.
I uninstalled 4.3.14 and reboot OS. | #12363 | obsolete | Can not start a guest OS for desktop alias (Host: Mac os x, 10.9) | ||
| Description |
In the virutalBox Manager I created an alias on the desktop (rightklick on the guest os), the icon is created, it points to .../Windows-Büro-Rechner.vbox . When i start it, the VirutalBox Managers starts and gives me this error-Message: Trying to open a VM config '/Users/[...]/VirtualBox VMs/Windows-Büro-Rechner/Windows-Büro-Rechner.vbox' which has the same UUID as an existing virtual machine. Konnte die virtuelle Maschine in /Users/thomaszahreddin/VirtualBox VMs/Windows-Büro-Rechner/Windows-Büro-Rechner.vbox nicht öffnen. Trying to open a VM config '/Users/thomaszahreddin/VirtualBox VMs/Windows-Büro-Rechner/Windows-Büro-Rechner.vbox' which has the same UUID as an existing virtual machine. with these details: Fehlercode:NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Komponente:Machine Interface:IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048} Callee:IVirtualBox {fafa4e17-1ee2-4905-a10e-fe7c18bf5554} This is annoying for me because some Windows-Users should be able to use this Guest and they are not familar with os x and so are not able to start the Windows guest. |
