| #18080 | worksforme | Oracle Linux 7.2 guest freezes when it boots (fedora 28 host) | ||
| Description |
With the latest 5.2.20 update of virtual box and guest additions Oracle Linux 7.2 with 3.10 kernel freezes on boot after 'started udev' message. Kernel 3.8 seem to boot normally (until boot process hits #17664 anyway). Before I update guest additions, guest was loading fine. |

| #18238 | fixed | vboxsf module (6.0.0) does not compile for kernel 3.10 -> fixed after (not in) 5.2.22/6.0.0 or in test builds | ||
| Description |
Can not compile vboxsf module during guest additions installation in Oracle Linux 7.2 guest (kernel 3.10.0-327.el7.x86_64) due to missing include in vboxsf/vfsmod.c (results in implicit declarations of functions seq_puts, seq_printf, seq_escape). To fix this I manually added #include <linux/seq_file.h> directive into file, after that module compiled successfully |

| #15869 | duplicate | VBoxNetNat.exe: The instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x. The memory could nom be written. | ||
| Description |
I often (unpredictably) get this error that kills my VM's networking until I restart or save/restore: The instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x. The memory could nom be written. VBoxNetNat.exe I can't find a deliberate trigger, though it may possibly be related to network throughput. Or talking to a Kubernetes cluster. |
