| #2691 | fixed | VM goes into guru meditation (VERR_REM_TOO_MANY_TRAPS) | ||
| Description |
What I were doing before the bug occurred: just installed openSUSE, booted it up, suspend to disk, tried to resume. And at that last step, resuming from disk, it failed. I've attached the VBox.png and VBox.log file. |

| #2694 | fixed | Re-mapped keyboard keys not recognized by VirtualBox => fixed in SVN | ||
| Description |
I normally use a keyboard that has the left "control" key in the bottom row, and a "caps lock" key in the "A S D F" row. I like having those two keys swapped, which the X server easily allows on Solaris (and others) via "xmodmap". However, when I use "xmodmap" to swap control/caps-lock, then VirtualBox apparently ignores the keymap changes, continuing to send the keys with their original key codes to the guest OS. It would be better if VirtualBox used a technique like "rdesktop" (the Windows RDP client), where the key symbols from the X server are converted back to key codes, where those key codes may be different than the real (hardware) key codes. |

| #2696 | fixed | Voyage Linux iso boot failure -> fixed in SVN/3.0.2 | ||
| Description |
I have been trying to install Voyage Linux (http://linux.voyage.hk/) in a virtual machine from a live cd iso. The boot process gets as far as "Checking 'hlt' instruction... OK", and then I get the "VirtualBox has encountered a problem and needs to close." dialog. I have Virtualbox running on XP Pro SP3, with an Ubuntu virtual machine working fine. I have used this Voyage Linux iso in Vmware Server with no trouble, but they don't support the nice shared folder ability like Virtualbox. The error report contains a text file, which I will try to attach. Thanks much for looking into this, and thanks very much for Virtualbox! Kurt |
