| #14604 | obsolete | Bridged networking not working since 5.0.0 | ||
| Description |
I am running a Windows 7 host and have VBox 5.0.4 and both Windows 10 and Fedora 22 guests but ever since going to VBox 5 only NAT networking is working. I have been watching and upgrading VBox to see if it is fixed but still no go. I have even tried creating a new Fedora VM but it will not start if I have anything other than NAT networking. Most of the bug tracks I see are with a Windows 10 Host but I am Windows 7? I get: Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Linux test. Failed to open/create the internal network 'HostInterfaceNetworking-Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)' (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_NOT_FOUND). Failed to attach the network LUN (VERR_INTNET_FLT_IF_NOT_FOUND). Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: ConsoleWrap Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed} If I switch to NAT, no errors at all. Could you please help. |

| #9544 | obsolete | GUI shows different window after focus has been lost | ||
| Description |
Hi, I'm using Virtual Box 4.1.2 on OS X Lion with the latest patches. But independent of the OS-Version I have this "error" on OS X Snowleopard too. I try to change the settings of a VM and click on the VM and then on settings at the top of the main window. Now the config window pops up and I select the storage option at the top. Now I want to change the ISO file in the virtual cd drive, so I choose the drive, click on the "cd-symbol" and select "Choose a virtual CD/DVD disk file..." (screenshot #1). Then the window that lets me select the file opens (screenshot no. 2). If this window looses the focus a totally different window shows up to select the file. If you move this window you can see that the first "select-file-window" is behind the VM settings window and is not accessible anymore (screenshot no. 3). In the "new" window you can select a file, but you are never able to click "ok". All you can do is to click "cancel" and then you're not able todo anything else. All you can do is to close the VM settings window and - sometimes - watch virtual box crash. The crash doesn't appear everytime but most of the time the GUI is not responding anymore. If you have questions, just contact me. KR, Grimeton |

| #9990 | fixed | kmk clean deletes parts of lib32 support libraries on FreeBSD 8.2-Release | ||
| Description |
Hello, don't know if this is a compile problem or not, so here the information: I'm trying to build VirtualBox 4.1.6 on 8.2-Release. When running kmk clean in the toplevel directory the following files are deleted: /usr/lib32/crti.o /usr/lib32/crtn.o /usr/lib32/crt1.o /usr/lib32/crtbegin.o /usr/lib32/crtend.o If you try to build vbox again, it complains about a missing target to build /usr/lib32/crt.o.
