I'm referencing ticket number #1969 as this was a problem before. I'm trying to get the guest additions installed with Server 2008 Core.

Receiving this error in the log:

Device class name: Media No devices with this name found! ERROR: Could not install files for Windows 2000 / XP / Vista! Installation aborted.

Description

VBoxManage modifyvm myVmName -uartmode1 server "/tmp/mySocket" is not working. Same setting, but configured through GUI is working fine. Calling it acording to VBoxManage usage help.

Description

My Windows VM didn't turn on. After many trials I decided to reinstall VBox. I started the uninstall script that wanted to unload the kernel extensions to delete them. During the unload/remove process I had a kernel panic. I attach the related OSX log generated after the reboot
