| #2605 | fixed | Crash with snow screen with guest Windows XP SP2 | ||
| Description |
VBox crashes 2 times a day for the last few days. I think it may be related to shared folder. Case 1: When I open an Excel file in Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and never close the Excel file, for unknown no. of hours, I saved it. Then crash the VBox and snow screen. Case 2: My MS Outlook 2003 points to a personal file located in Mac OS X folder (through the shared folder). Not repeatable; but, when I compose a new email and press the "Send" button, then crash again and the same snow screen. Case 3: When I open the file Explore showing the shared folder files and leave it here to have lunch, after that, when I double click an Excel to open it, VBox crashed and snow screen shown. For your information, I always connect with VPN using checkpoint. |

| #2608 | fixed | XP SP3 host networking crashes while loading virtual OS | ||
| Description |
I am experiencing a crash of my networking services while loading a virtual OS. As soon as the virtual OS starts to load, I lose connectivity on my host system on both the wired and wireless NIC's I have. Only way to fix it is to reboot the whole system. This happens everytime I open a virtual OS. I never experienced this before with previous builds of VirtualBox. Windows event logs appear to have nothing related to this issue which leads me to believe it's a software problem. |

| #2609 | fixed | VirtualBox 2.0.x GUI doesn't display | ||
| Description |
The "VirtualBox" command for VB 2.0.x on Debian amd64 never displays a GUI. Virtual machines may be started directly with a command such as "VirtualBox -startvm 'Windows XP'", but if any GUI buttons are clicked VirtualBox crashes with this error: [15860.885258] VirtualBox[8336]: segfault at 7fff9155bfe8 ip 7fc587117f54 sp 7fff9155bff0 error 6 in libQtCore.so.4.4.3[7fc58706b000+230000] I do have the QT libraries installed, as well as all of the VirtualBox package dependencies. I've verified that both VirtualBox and QT are 64 bit. VirtualBox 1.6.x works fine and is what i am using for now. I originally posted about this in the forums, and was encouraged to submit a ticket. |
