| #1372 | worksforme | Ubuntu Gutsy guest on windows XP host has no mouse after capture | ||
| Description |
VBox ver.: 1.5.6, Host: Windows XP, Guest Ubuntu Gutsy, with or without guest editions installed, does not show mouse cursor after mouse capture. This issue was noticed ever since VBox 1.5.2 or even earlier. I have tried fresh VM's including fresh Ubuntu install. Keyboard capture is fine. Although extremely difficult to do, it is possible to use mouse to click in guest OS however it is impossible to see where the mouse is at any given point in time. Restartin X or using the host key to cancel capture and then recapture does not change anything. Prior to this problem appearing, VirtualBox ran fine on the same machine and host OS installation. Only after an upgrade of VirtualBox did this problem manifest. I have uninstalled and reinstalled VirtualBox with no change. |

| #1374 | duplicate | Start, Delete, Settings, Delete buttons missing after standby/hibernate | ||
| Description |
When I first boot up my computer, everything works fine. I start a virtual machine, and then put my host computer into standby. After I wake the computer up and shut down my virtual machine, I (usually) can't start or modify any other virtual machines. The strange thing is that it doesn't do this all of the time, only most of the time. I am using Kubuntu 7.10 with a Windows guest. I have a Dell B130 laptop. Thanks! |
