#1841 obsolete Problem with shared folders and roaming profiles in Windows as guest Mathias Kosch
Description

I set up my Windows guest to use shared folders with roaming profiles. After attempting to log in as user I get an error message that my profile can't be loaded and the local profile is used instead. However also a network drive is connected to my shared folders during the login process (for application data, desktop and personal files) and these files are instantly accessible and appear on my desktop without any problems.

If I log out and log in again as the same user no error message is shown and the profile can be loaded properly. The same happens if I first log in as administrator (no roaming profile), log out and finally log in as user.

So the problem is only related to loading my profile during the first login after reboot. All "usual" access to shared folders works without problem.

I'm using Windows 2000 as guest and openSUSE 11.0 as host. The attachment shows the log file generated during the first login attempt after reboot.

#1848 obsolete Mac OS X Keyboard Number Pad Not Passed To Guest Brian Leonard
Description

I'm running OpenSolaris 2008.05 as a guest on Mac OS X. The number pad keys are not being received by the guest (at least not OpenSolaris, I haven't tried other guests yet).

#1858 obsolete KDE taskbar overlaps fullscreen WinXP guest when switching to it with mouse click Dmitry Grigoriev
Description

Host: Gentoo Linux x86_64, KDE 3.5.9, VirtualBox 1.6.2_OSE. Guest: WinXP SP2 with VirtualBox Additions installed, mouse integration=on, fullscreen=on, autoresize guest display=on.

To reproduce: =============

  1. Ensure you have multiple desktops in KDE, Desktop preview applet on taskbar, and hotkeys to switch between desktops (I use Super+F1...Super+F4).
  1. Open WinXP guest on a separate desktop in fullscreen mode (I use Desktop4).
  1. Press right Ctrl, then switch with keyboard to another desktop (I press Super+F1).
  1. Switch back to WinXP by mouse-clicking desktop4 in desktop preview applet on KDE taskbar. You'll get fullscreen WinXP but still visible KDE taskbar.

Notes: ======

  1. If you switch to desktop4 with keyboard (Super+F4 in my case), it will be ok.
  1. To hide KDE taskbar, I press right Ctrl+Q (shutdown dialog), Esc (cancel shutdown dialog).
  1. VirtualBox 1.5.x was ok (I don't remember exact version, probably one still last unmasked by Gentoo maintainers; I unmasked 1.6.x manually).
