| #1841 | obsolete | Problem with shared folders and roaming profiles in Windows as guest | ||
| Description |
I set up my Windows guest to use shared folders with roaming profiles. After attempting to log in as user I get an error message that my profile can't be loaded and the local profile is used instead. However also a network drive is connected to my shared folders during the login process (for application data, desktop and personal files) and these files are instantly accessible and appear on my desktop without any problems. If I log out and log in again as the same user no error message is shown and the profile can be loaded properly. The same happens if I first log in as administrator (no roaming profile), log out and finally log in as user. So the problem is only related to loading my profile during the first login after reboot. All "usual" access to shared folders works without problem. I'm using Windows 2000 as guest and openSUSE 11.0 as host. The attachment shows the log file generated during the first login attempt after reboot. |
