#7422 obsolete Seamless Mode Breaks Gnome Panel George Salt
Description

Host: Ubuntu Linux 10.04 with kernel 2.6.32-24-generic on x86_64 and Gnome 2.30.2.

VirtualBox: 3.2.8 r64453

VM: Windows XP Professional (32 bit)

Problem: When I switch the VM to Seamless Mode, the panels on my Gnome desktop become unresponsive; for example, the "Applications" pulldown menu will not expand when clicked. This problem goes away when I switch back to windowed mode.

This problem started recently, after an Ubuntu package upgrade which included a new linux kernel.

#14358 duplicate Windows 7 Host presenting problem on Network when PowerOn/Shutdown guest GeovaneGomes
Description
  1. When Power On or ShutDown a virtual machine, the host loses network connection and back.
  1. In some cases, when I Shutdown a virtual machine, the host network goes down and not back, and restart the Host is necessary.

My host is Windows 7 32bit

#15 invalid Unable to discard snapshots Gerco
Description

I have installed Windows XP SP2 in a virtual machine on a Linux (Gentoo) host (in VirtualBox OSE). When I attempt to discard a snapshot in this machine, the vboxsvc crashes immediately with a segmentation fault:

gerco@laptoo ~ $ vboxsvc * InnoTek VirtualBox XPCOM Server Version 1.3.3 (C) 2004-2006 InnoTek Systemberatung GmbH All rights reserved.

Starting event loop.... [press Ctrl-C to quit] Informational: VirtualBox object created (rc=00000000). Segmentation fault

Discarding from VBoxManage or 'virtualbox' GUI application doesn't seem to make a difference. The same thing happens regardless. If you want to and tell me how to do it, I will generate a backtrace from the vboxsvc process for debugging purposes.
