#1480 fixed Build errors for Linux module vboxdrv with 2.6.26-rc1 lwfinger
Description

In Linux kernel 2.6.26-rc1 and later, the handling of page faults has changed. In particular, struct vm_operations_struct has changed, and the symbols NOPAGE_SIGBUS and NOPAGE_OOM no longer exist.

The attached patch allows the kernel module to compile and load for kernel 2.6.26-rc1. It has not been thoroughly tested; however, I was able to load my Windows Me virtual machine without error.

#5976 fixed Build fails finding VBOXQT4GUIEXE with --disable-qt rvboxr
Description

Trying to build VirtualBox-3.1.2_OSE on Centos 5.4 without any GUI components.
./configure --disable-hardening --disable-pulse --disable-qt --disable-opengl
Output from kmk is:
Config.kmk:1767: /home/me/VirtualBox-3.1.2_OSE/out/linux.x86/release/GCCConfig.kmk: No such file or directory
Config.kmk:3902: /home/me/VirtualBox-3.1.2_OSE/out/linux.x86/release/revision.kmk: No such file or directory
/home/me/VirtualBox-3.1.2_OSE/kBuild/units/qt4.kmk:170: kBuild: Couldn't find the Qt4 headers and libaries...
/home/me/VirtualBox-3.1.2_OSE/kBuild/footer.kmk:708: * kBuild: Cannot find include file for the template 'VBOXQT4GUIEXE'! Searched: /home/me/VirtualBox-3.1.2_OSE/kBuild/templates . Stop.

I tried hunting down the VBOXQT4GUIEXE template (looks to be in src/VBox/Frontends/VirtualBox/Makefile.kmk and src/VBox/Main/Makefile.kmk), but have been unable to get it to truly ignore building the GUI components.
I have successfully build all of the 2.x and 3.0.x versions successfully in my same environment. Since Centos does not include qt4 version 4.4 or higher, and since I don't need the GUI anyway, I want to build without. I found someone else with a similar problem at: http://www.mail-archive.com/vbox-dev@virtualbox.org/msg02100.html

#3839 fixed Build fails for project located in shared folder with VisualStudio 2008 SP1 -> Fixed in 3.0.0 Stefan Vonolfen
Description

When I try to build a project in VisualStudio 2008 SP1 that is located on a shared folder in VirtualBox 2.2.0, the build fails with the following error: "Error 2 Error generating Win32 resource: Access is denied.".

I have write rights on the output folder and the build works fine on VirtualBox 2.1.4, so this bug seems to be a regression actually. In both versions I have the current guest additions installed (2.2.0).

Host: Gentoo Linux, Kernel 2.6.25-gentoo-r7, Filesystem: ext3 Guest: Windows XP SP2
